Parks Master Plan - Adopted

On April 18th the Council and Park Master Plan Ad-Hoc Committee received the final concept plan for the park property located at 5535 Juniper.  Power Point Presentation - PDF

Skatepark Ad-Hoc Committee Created - The Mayor requested approval of an ad-hoc committee to address the following items:

  1. What can the skateboarders do to keep the park open?
  2. What rules can the City make for them to follow?
  3. What should the penalty be for bad behavior of a skateboarder?
  4. What is the role or responsibility of a skateboarder’s parent?
  5. Should the park have limited access?
  6. How/Who should pay for the skate park repairs?

Mayor Foster requested the committee work to present recommendations within 3 months.
