Roeland Park Community Fall Festival

What we have so far -

     Mark your calendars!  Grab your lawnchairs!  It’s new!  It’s improved!   So what makes it new and improved?  For starters, the headliner for this year’s event will be the 2000 Country Entertainers of the Year...The Dixie Cadillacs.  The Dixie Cadillacs are known for their modern, traditional country, classic rock and blues.  The group has shared the stage with acts like Gary Allan, Alabama, Joe Diffie, Vince Gill, Merle Haggard, The Judds, Barbara Mandrell and Dwight Yoakum just to name a few.  Making “Billboards Top 100 and being named the “Best of…” for several categories, the Cadillacs will perform at the Community Center on Saturday, October 4.

     The Good Sam Club, a local group, will kick off the day with some 50’s Rock and Roll  This group has been performing locally and bring enthusiasm and talent to our community. 

      RoeFest ‘08 will run from 11 am to 4 pm with the 5K Run Walk and Roll for Families of SMA run beginning at 8 am. The theme this year is “Community Spirit” and activities are being geared to involve the entire community with focuses on health, safety and environment.  There will still be free entertainment and fun activities for people of all ages.  Mark your calendars for October 4th and join us at the Roeland Park Community Center for RoeFest 2008!
